If you want to go rustic and don’t mind and bringing in your own bedding, then an overnight trip to the Burgdorf Hot Springs might be in order. Then there is the Challis Hot Springs which bring a lot of the creature comforts of home to a remote location.

|Notes||Idaho is one the least populated states with a majority of the population in the greater Boise area. The Sawtooth region is a beautiful rugged mountain range home to Stanley, often one of the coldest spots in the continental United States in winter, and Sun Valley which had the first ski lifts installed in 1936. Hells Canyon and the Snake River cut through Idaho. Idaho is also one of the states to replace a highway 420 mile marker sign with 419.9 in an attempt to reduce theft of the sign with a number associated with marijuana.|
